The new 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat has been making serious noise in the horsepower wars, its 707 horsepower stomping on the Ford Shelby GT500 and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. After a half-century of pony-car power, making a new Mustang is a tall order for Ford. They’ve got to keep the diehard fans happy, woo new customers, build and expand the brand, introduce new technology, keep the old-school flavour of the car, and showcase the whole shebang to an expectant world. No pressure.
When JP isn’t on set, you might catch him speeding through the streets – not in an old clunker – but in a high-performance car. He drives a 2005 Porsche 911 Turbo and a 2010 Porsche Cayenne Turbo. And in real life, JP can’t always shake that bad-boy image of his Trailer Park days.
The obvious thing to do would be to immediately buy a Type-Aaarrrrrrrrr. That’s right, it’s Talk Like A Pirate Day today, and that got us thinking what it might be like if we had a Drive Like a Pirate Day, too.
Double Dutch When you think of the great supercar makers, the tendency is towards either Teutonic precision or Italian flair. The Dutch? Well, they gave us the CVT, didn’t they? Hardly the sort of place that’ll come up with something capable of tilting at windmills. However, here’s today’s ultra-rare find of the week: a…

But now, actor Mike Smith is dumping his trademark Coke-bottle eyeglasses to play himself in the new flick, Swearnet, which chronicles his adventures with cohorts-in-crime Robb Wells and JP Tremblay – aka Ricky and Julian of the Trailer Park Boys – as they launch a profanity-riddled internet channel. When Smith isn’t on set performing his wild antics, he’s on the road driving a car that is anything but trailer trash. It’s an Italian exotic: a 2007 Maserati Quattroporte.

I sat astride the 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 650 at the top of a large hill, eyeing my teammates training on the pitch below. I was late, I was wet, and I was cold. The hill was a quagmire, streams of mud and water slid down it as I watched, shivering. A rain storm had caught…
