Bringing Elvis Home in a Cadillac Escalade

Last November, I drove with my family to collect a new puppy from an American breeder. She agreed to meet us halfway between our two homes in Louisiana and Toronto, but there was only one place this could be: his name is Elvis, so we had to meet in Elvis Presley’s hometown, Memphis, Tennessee. Elvis Presley owned many cars in his lifetime but his favourites were Cadillacs. Even so, none were as comfortable or capable as the 2015 Cadillac Escalade that would bring The King’s canine namesake home to his new country.

Elvis is a Clumber Spaniel, quite a rare breed, and I wanted to collect him in style, so I arranged for a press vehicle from Cadillac’s Canadian fleet.
