Best Automotive Moments at the MuchMusic Video Awards

In 2012, while Carly Rae Jepsen was riding the top of the charts with her catchy international hit "Call Me Maybe", she rolled down the red carpet in this 1965 Ford Mustang convertible flanked by a couple of shirtless, ripped dudes. She's back this year as well, as both a nominee and performer.

On Sunday, June 21, the annual MuchMusic Video Awards will take over a section of downtown Toronto for a night of party and music, blanketing the streets with screaming fans and the airwaves with some of today’s hottest music. As usual, the irreverent, unstructured, fun-loving spirit of the evening infects the red carpet too, as over the years we’ve seen some stars trying to make an unforgettable impression by arriving in eye-popping vehicles. Here’s a look back at some of the eye-popping-est, as well as what we may expect from this year’s presenters and performers.
